PREPARE MILKY Q-TWIRL HAIR

Prepare by first splitting the track of the MilkyWay Q-Twirl Hair. Take a razor and splice it in two.

TWO SIDES OF HAIR

When you split it you should have 2 separate tracks of hair. Keep cutting down the track. It doubles the amount of hair that will be using.

COMB IT OUT

Take one piece and comb it out with a WIDE teeth comb.

SHOULD APPEAR LOOSE

After combing out, it should appear like an afro with a loose appearance.

START ADDING FIRST TRACK

Make sure the glue is partially dry. Start in the back and go around. Make shure it leans outward away from the glue.

START ADDING SECOND TRACK

Start adding second track and law it in the same direct AWAY from the glue. Do 3 in the back then do 3 in the front. You want the hair to fall in all different directions instead of all going to one side.

CUT AS YOU GO

You'll have to cut the tracks as you go. Lay 3 three tracks in the front and 3 tracks in the back and continue as you go to the middle. Each tracks goes around from on side to the next.

WORK YOUR WAY TO THE CENTER

Work your way through as the center gets smaller and smaller. Remember when you put the tracks on the front end make sure the hair line is all the up the wrap.

CENTER WILL SHRINK

As you go you'll notice the center is shrinking nicely. Keep adding the peices to the center. Three to the fron and three to the back. Half way around each. The track pieces will be getting smaller and smaller.

KEEP GLUE SEMI-DRY

AS you're coming close to the end you may notice that the glue is become too dry. Add more glue if necessary.

COMING TO THE LAST FEW TRACKS

Use straight peices as you do the last few tracks.

LAY THE LAST TRACK

Lay the last track straight up and down.

CLOSE IT OUT

Close out the hair by lightly squeezing it together.

PRESS THE HAIR DOWN

Start pressing the hair down. This will press the bottom of the hait that in the track down a little. DO NOT USE A COMB OR PICK.

MAKE SURE GLUE IS COMPLETELY DRY

Use the blow drying to make sure the glue is completely dry. NO NEAT.

CUT DOWN THE TOP OF THE HAIR

Using your Walh magic clippers. Cut down your hair slowly. Cut it down to the length that you want.

SIDES AND BACK

When you get to the sides, back, and sometimes the front, you can cut in any direction but NEVER CUT UP. Try to go mostly down. This will get it to blend into your natrual hair snd will avoid gaps.

CONTINUE CUTTING IN A DOWNWARD MOTION

Continue cutting in a downward motion to push a natural blend with your real hair.

KEEP CUTTING A LITTLE

Keep cutting a little a time as you. Afterwards you can line it up as usual. Do not attempt to push the line back. You have to stay to the line you created. Stay at the hair line. You may also consult with a barber on this final step. Just let them know that you have a weave unit and it must be cut only downward and side ways.

ADDING TOPPIK SPRAY

You may use toppik hair spray to get a sharper edge. Use a business card to keep in alignment. This is not a necessary step but if you want an even sharper look then you can use Toppik. Just keep the card right at the hair line. Keep the spray about 6 inches away.

MAINTENANCE

Do not wash your unit, this is a water resister unit which means it will lost longer. But it's not water proof. You can go to the gym and work out and sweat. Do not pick your hair. Use your hands to shape it. Do not shampoo.
