DRAWING THE HAIR LINE
Start out by drawing the hair line with the liner pencil. It should be where your natural hair line is. Do not go too low or it will look unnatural. Take you time because this is the most important part of the process.
MAKE A HORSESHOE SHAPE
Matching the same level as the hairline drawing, use the Wahl Magic Clips cut out a horseshoe shape going back to the crown of the head. Don't take it all the way down to the skin. However get it as smoothe as possible.
CLEAN THE TOP OF HEAD
Using rubbing alcohol, clean the top of the head completely. The scalp should be free of grease or hair that may stop the adhesive from sticking properly.
ADD ELECTRICAL TAPE AGAINST THE HAIRLINE
Put electrical tape to support the hairline. Match it the guideline that was created in the beginning. Use 3 pieces. Left, right, and center.
ADD SKIN PROTECTOR
Put the skin protector around the edges where there is going to have glue.
ADD GHOST BOND LACE WIG GLUE
Exactly where you added the scalp protector on the previous step, you will put the ghost bond glue.
SMOOTH OUT GHOST BOND LACE WIG GLUE
Smoothe out ghost bond glue evenly on the scalp. Make sure it's dried to a clear before going to the next step.
START ADDING CARIBBEAN TWIST HAIR
After smoothing out ghost bond glue on scalp surface, Fluff out CARIBBEAN TWIST HAIR to create a little bounce. Only to loosen up the hair a little. Remove electrical tape and start adding hair 1 row at a time, side by side neatly. Overlap them a little bit to avoid having spaces between each row.
MAKE SURE THERE IS NO SPACE
Make sure there is no space between each placed hair rows.
ADD BLACK WIG CAP OR DO RAG
Add the black stocking cap. Avoid pulling the hair with the cap. Put in on snug and spread the cap out well. The cap will be compressing the hair down to your head.
PRESS YOUR HAIR
Press the hair evenly again with your hand.
BLOW DRY HAIR
Blow dry the hair for about 10 minutes while pressing down on the hair with the other hand. NO HEAT.
CUT OFF ALL TAILS
Cut off all the tail extras off from the back and front of the head.
REMOVE CAP OR DO RAG
Remove the cap ONLY by cutting it off. Or carefully untie the do rag. DO NOT pull them off.
OPEN WAHL TO MAX OPEN POSITION
Open your clippers to the open max position. Pull lever away and blades should appear to become longer.
USING YOUR WAHL CLIPPER START TRIMMING
Start trimming slowly using your clippers. Take of very little at a time.
KEEP TRIMMING HAIR DOWN
Keep trimming the hair down slowly to the shape of the head. Take very little at a time skimming.
REMOVE ELECTRICAL TAPE
Remove electrical tape to prepare for cleaning up the hairline.
