DRAWING THE HAIR LINE
Start out by drawing the hair line with the liner pencil. It should be where your natural hair line is. Do not go too low or it will look unnatural. Take you time because this is the most important part of the process.
MAKE A HORSESHOE SHAPE
Using the Wahl Magic Clips cut out a horseshoe shape going back to the crown of the head. Don't take it all the way down to the skin. However get it as smoothe as possible.
CLEAN THE TOP OF HEAD
Using rubbing alcohol, clean the top of the head completely. The scalp should be free of grease or hair that may stop the adhesive from sticking properly.
ADD SIDE PATH IF DESIRED
Draw a curve line as desired or as seem fit. Draw it in dark. We will follow this parting line in later instructions. You will glue everything around this line.
ADD ELECTRIC TAPE TO AGAINST THE HAIRLINE
Put electrical tape to support the hairline. Use 3 pieces. Left, right, and center. Match it the guideline that was created in the beginning. Remember to wipe down the white line to make sure it's flat on the skin and not a raised line.
ADD GHOST BOND LACE WIG GLUE OR LIQUID GOLD BOND
Exactly where you added the scalp protector on the previous step, you will put the ghost bond glue.
AVOID GETTING GLUE ON THE WHITE PART LINE
Do not get glue any where on the white part line. We need to be able to go back and cut the part in the hair without the glue on that surface.
START ADDING CUBAN TWIST HAIR
Fluff out CUBAN TWIST HAIR to create a little bounce. Only to loosen up the hair a little. Remove electrical tape and start adding hair 1 row at a time, side by side neatly. Overlap them a little bit to avoid having spaces between each row.
CONTINUE ADDING THE HAIR
Keep adding hair until you close the gap.
PAT HAIR SLOWLY AND LIGHTLY
Lightly press the hair down into the glue. This insures that the unseen hair underneath sticks to the glue.
CUT OFF ALL TAILS
Cut off all the tail extras off from the back of the head.
ADD BLACK WIG CAP
Add the black stocking cap. Avoid pulling the hair with the cap. Put in on snug and spread the cap out well. The cap will be compressing the hair down to your head.
PRESS YOUR HAIR AGAIN
Press the hair evenly again with your hand.
BLOW DRY HAIR
Blow dry the hair for about 10 minutes. NO HEAT.
REMOVE CAP BY CUTTING
Remove the cap ONLY by cutting it off. DO NOT pull it off.
USING YOUR WAHL CLIPPER START TRIMMING
Start trimming slowly using your clippers. Take of very little at a time.
KEEP TRIMMING HAIR DOWN
Keep trimming the hair down slowly to the shape of the head. Take very little at a time skimming.
CUT DOWNWARD
Cut downward to blend into the natural hair. Use your mirror to see the hair from a different perspective.
KEEP CUTTING DOWN SLOWLY
Work in sections. Make sure you have a nice even layer all the way around.
